My new book is almost ready for release (RELASED—Click the “Free Book” link at the top or bottom of the page to download it). For those who’ve been here awhile, you may remember I released a book a few years ago. Way of the Messiah: Made in the Image of God. It contained some errors and my arrogance, so I removed it after getting some distance from the years-long project that birthed it. I’ve never been able to simply walk away from it, so after some revision, and the removal of certain portions, which should never have been released to general audiences,

I’m releasing the new and improved, shorter version of the book under a new title. Once Upon a Time: Tracing the Footsteps of Christ, Our Hero tells of many things hidden in plain sight, but most of all, how it came to be that all stories reduce to One True Story in the end, that of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Man. It’s been said (possibly by John Gardner—though no one living seems to truly know for certain) that in all the world there are only two stories: a man goes on a journey and a stranger comes to town. Jesus is the man and the Stranger—Who comes as God Incarnate and goes as seeker of the lost sheep of God. Seeing the way that the Bible speaks always of Christ gives meaning to much that remains hidden to many.

Won’t you come in and know Him better? When the link goes live on the home page, anyone who subscribes to my brief, occasional newsletters will receive links to download their free copy of the book. I hope reading it will improve your life and walk with God the way that writing it has improved mine.

God bless!
