A Call to Accountability and Action from a True Patriot and Christ Follower

What I am about to say, I do not say lightly, but I speak with a clear conscience and voice of certainty about the current state of affairs of the United States in the early months of 2020. When I joined the service as a soldier in the U. S. Army, I swore an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States from all enemies, foreign and domestic. The government of these united states does not release its servants from their oaths. And, as I am a professing Christian, I believe that an oath is a sacred bond before God. It must be held in deepest sincerity, even though I regret swearing any oaths at any time, this does not release me from my duty before God almighty. I now believe that no true Christian has any business swearing to an oath as the Bible speaks against doing so, but I did it and cannot take it back as the Bible also speaks against breaking an oath, at least as far as my conscience and understanding guide me. So please read what Iā€™m about to say with those things in mind and consider carefully your response. If it angers you, you must ask yourself why, weigh your own course before God, and test it.

The President of the United States is guilty of obstructing the process of law by ordering his branch to resist compliance with the powers of another branch of government by refusing to cooperate with a simple inquiry to find facts and decide whether or not he violated the sacred trust of his office by committing high crimes and/or misdemeanors. If the President is innocent of any wrongdoing, why the need to block an investigation? An investigation is nothing more than fact finding. By so doing, he undermined the powers of another branch of government as defined by the Constitution, thus making himself an enemy of the Constitution of the United States. Furthermore, his actions, including attacks upon the character of many people who were guilty of nothing more than simply opposing his wrongdoing, have repeatedly demonstrated before our nation and the world that he is an immoral man who claims to be a Christian. The Bible cautions Christ followers against supporting or associating with such people.

Therefore, I proclaim, before God and the Great Assembly, that President Trump and all those who, knowing the facts of his actions, continue to support him are behaving as not only enemies of Christ, but also enemies of our Constitution. This includes every Republican who supports him and votes, not according to conscience and consideration for right and wrong, good and evil, but along partisan divisions, as well as every Christian who continues to voice support for him in and among the people of our God. Anyone who cannot in good conscience recognize their mistake in supporting this man and repent of supporting someone who continually lies and behaves in such worldly fashion as he does, will get what they deserve when they stand before God. Here is a man who has shed blood by abandoning our allies, undermined the sacred honor due to our veterans by denying their injuries, spoken of women as if they were trash, divided families and tossed children into prisons, and ignored the plight of our brothers and sisters in territorial spaces as well as among the other nation groups of the world. And everyone who supports this man is also guilty of the same.

I have spoken.
